I joined Health Minister, Brad Hazzard and Shire MPs today on a site visit to the new Caringbah ambulance superstation.
The Caringbah superstation, due to be completed by the end of this year, is another step in ensuring our community receives the best possible medical care when they need it the most. The superstation will complement the recent $62.9million redevelopment of Sutherland Hospital.
The superstation is one of nine superstations being constructed under the NSW Government’s $150 million Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy program.
Out and about in Eurobodalla Shire yesterday with Andrew Constance including:
✅ Speaking at a community meeting with 250+ citizens and accepting a 18,000 signature petition to take to Parliament to keep open the Batemans Bay emergency department, which the Minns Labor Government intends to close
✅ Checking (non-)progress of the new Eurobodalla Hospital announced in 2020 - still an empty paddock
✅ Checking (non-)progress on the Moruya bypass - no commitment to any timetable and no update since the 2022 consultation report under the previous government (see short video in comments below). ... See MoreSee Less
