UPGRADE TO KINGSWAY AND ELOUERA ROAD INTERSECTION OPEN TO TRAFFIC

Upgrade to Kingsway Eloura intersection

Motorists travelling through the busy intersection of the Kingsway and Elouera Road at Cronulla are experiencing faster journeys, with work on this local road upgrade now complete.

The NSW Government has completed the project in time for the busy summer season around North Cronulla Beach.

The NSW Government continues to work closely with Sutherland Shire Council, which has already made changes to parking in Mitchell Road to offset parking impacts on Elouera Road.

Access to local shops, cafes and North Cronulla Beach was maintained at all times and there was no impact on the Bali Memorial. The community is thanked for their patience and feedback while work was carried out.

Some minor work including final line-marking will be completed in coming weeks.

Final work in Peryman Square will be completed next year as part of a wider project by Sutherland Shire Council which is being part-funded by the NSW Government.

The NSW Government is delivering the road upgrade as part of its $100 million Congestion and Safety Program, to ease congestion and improve journey reliability on Sydney’s key road corridors.
