  • 229 extra weekly services on T4 Illawarra line (including 10 extra morning peak and 15 extra afternoon peak on Cronulla line each week); faster average peak hour travel times between Cronulla line and city
  • Sutherland to Cronulla Active Transport Link shared off-road bike / pedestrian pathway stage 1 (Sutherland to Kirrawee completed; Kirrawee to Cronulla due for progressive completion from 2022)
  • Grants for Sutherland Shire Council’s shared bike / pedestrian pathways at Woolooware Bay, Prince Charles Parade Kurnell, Tonkin Oval Cronulla and Wanda to North Cronulla (completed), and Elouera Road Cronulla and Kiora Road Miranda
  • Opal card rolled out at all stations on T4 Illawarra line

  • Installation and upgrades to walkways at Cronulla, Kirrawee and Woolooware High Schools and Burraneer Bay, Cronulla, Cronulla South, Gymea Bay and Yowie Bay Public Schools.
  • COLA and outdoor shelter installation at Kirrawee High School; Caringbah North, Cronulla, Cronulla South, Kurnell and Woolooware Public Schools; and Grays Point Preschool.
  • Outdoor area upgrades at Burraneer Bay, Caringbah, Cronulla, Grays Point, Laguna Street, Lilli Pilli, Woolooware and Yowie Bay Public Schools; Our Lady of Fatima Caringbah; OLMC Burraneer; St Francis De Sales School; and Cronulla Preschool.

  • $46m upgrade to Cronulla Wastewater Treatment Plant

  • $41m (plus $25m from the federal government) to upgrade Kamay Botany Bay National Park – new public art (completed), new visitor centre, exhibition area, cafe, education area, local office at Kurnell and ferry wharves at Kurnell and La Perouse (due early 2020s)
  • Upgraded Cape Baily Walking Track and Cape Solander road access in Kamay Botany Bay National Park
  • Over $10m upgrade of iconic Coast Track in the Royal National Park
  • Up to $5m for walkway around Hungry Point Cronulla from Salmon Haul Bay to Darook Park (due early 2020s)
  • Around $850,000 of other funding for Hungry Point Reserve Cronulla upgrades for public opening, including new toilet block, picnic facilities, landscaping, additional lighting and signage.
