Vale Margaret Corbett OAM, 2020 Cronulla Woman of the Year.
Margaret was involved in netball for many decades in different roles, including NSW selector, NSW convenor, NSW Coaching Director, NSW State Coach and NSW Institute of Sport Head Coach.
In 2006 Margaret became the seventh inductee into the Netball NSW Hall of Fame. The prestigious State League Coach of the Year Award was dedicated in her honour and is now named the Margaret Corbett State League Coach of the Year Award.
In 2013 Margaret was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the Queen’s Birthday honours list for services to netball.
In 2019 Margaret became the second person ever to be elevated to legend status by Netball NSW, with the organisation honouring the pioneering coach at their annual state dinner.
A life well lived!
I extend my sincere condolences to all Margaret’s family and friends. ... See MoreSee Less

Always remember Mrs Corbett when I think of my younger days at the netball courts 🙏💕
Netball in the Sutherland Shire owes a lot to Margaret she was a tireless worker and promoted the game. 🌟 ⭐️
Sad news , an absolute icon for Netball. Will be sadly missed by her many friends and family
I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Margaret over many years at camps for junior netballers - a true legend
A special lady, who gave to her community. Thinking of her family at this time.
Margaret selected my daughter Megan Shatar when she was 15 years old into the talented netball squad NSW. A wonderful netball family member xxxx
Thoughts and prayers are with the family!💜💜
A sad loss 💕
One of my greatest privileges as Netball NSW President was to present Margaret with her Legend status in 2019 - and what a witty speech she gave that night, as she always did 👏 So sad to hear the news of her passing, but so thankful for the opportunity we all had to spend time and learn from this beautiful, selfless lady. A legend always.
Margaret also took up a role on the Board of Sport NSW in the earlier years and was supportive of improving all sports across the Board. Quite a character
Corby was one of a kind who dedicated so much of her time to netball throughout NSW. She inspired so many coaches & players & her legacy will live on through so many. Thank you and RIP Corby 🌻 My condolences to all the family 💐
An amazing champion of netball !
🙏❤️

Read some of the comments on this post and you guys will realise where you are going wrong. Of the two Liberals involved in the Impact of Cannabis, one of them needs a talking to. If the Liberal Party got onboard with this it would be the first humane thing i have seen from your party in a lot of years. Only been hearing that it will be legal in 20 years since 1977. www.facebook.com/share/p/1HhsEN5FZ5/
There is no way u deserve a payrise
NSW deserves better than a government sleepwalking through crises.
Over the coming 21 months, we’ll outline our detailed policies and plans.
In the meantime, here are some of our ideas for starters:
✔️Restore the First Home Buyer Choice program, removing the burden of stamp duty for young people trying to get into the housing market
✔️Stamp duty concessions for eligible downsizers
✔️Easing the record state taxes and charges on new homes, which are crippling supply
✔️Reinstate the Active Kids Program, to help with household budgets and get our kids moving, learning and engaging
✔️Fairer payroll tax settings to support small and medium-sized businesses
✔️An AI Opportunities Action Plan overseen by a dedicated Minister, with artificial intelligence embedded across public service processes.
✔️Genuine investments in preventative health so that people can live longer, better lives.
✔️Aim for balanced budgets over the economic cycle.

An inquiry into missing persons would be a great start.
What are you doing about corruption in londonderry collect ICAC and head out
Defund this!!
Here here
This government is having to redirect money to pay for all the pay rises our first responders and most public servants deserve. That money has to come from somewhere and if it means cancelling some ‘pipeline’ projects as you call them then so be it. Nothing ever seems good enough for you. Do you not realise there is no infinite well of money to draw from??? If you think it is so wrong then stop whingeing and WORK with the incumbents to fix issues rather than just your constant whingeing.
So? Labor still gonna win next election. Liberal Party is infested with creepy perverted fat Christians like you who can’t be trusted around kids. Majority of Christians are predators and sex offenders. Nobody gonna vote for that .😂
